The Day the Crayons Quit Activities

Here are some activity ideas you can try!
If you think of something different then we would love to see it!

1) The crayons are a bit fed up with their box they have been left in. Can you create a new one out of recycled materials? (see examples below!)

2) If you have paints at home, mix different colours together to see what new colours you can make and then paint a picture!

3) Make your own crayons using old ones! (Make sure you do this with an adult.)

ACTIVITY 2

In The Day The Crayons Quit, all of the crayons are different but they are a bit fed up, all for different reasons. Some of them had too many jobs, and some of them felt left out because they had barely anything to do. What they didn't realise was how important they all were and that when they worked together, they could make something beautiful like a picture!
We have already learnt about how we are all different and unique in our own way. I would like you to choose a friend and think about what makes you different and what makes you the same!
