Welcome from the Head Teacher
We are a small and friendly primary school set in extensive grounds. We have less than 200 children from 3 to 11 years old, including our own full time Nursery.
We are passionate about providing a fantastic education for all our children. We aim to provide an exceptional learning environment where children are happy, enthusiastic and inspired. We want everyone to feel excited about coming to school! Our curriculum enables children to gain the knowledge, skills and experiences necessary to lead happy, successful and fulfilling lives.

🍂 How lucky are Dosbarth Ogwr to have been exploring our Forest School! The children had the BEST time exploring the signs of autumn and taking photos of all their wonderful findings. They collected lots of leaves, apples and other natural materials before using their imaginations to create some very funny faces! 🍎🍁😄 To finish off their adventure, they had great fun running through the long grass, climbing the bumpy stone hill and balancing on the stepping stones. 🌿🪨 What a beautiful way to learn about nature, spark curiosity and develop so many other important skills, from creativity and physical development to confidence and coordination. 🍂🍂 A huge thank you to Mrs Guillerm for creating such a lovely area.The children absolutely love their new learning environment, and it's so lovely to see them exploring, discovering and learning through play! 🥰🌳

🎃 Dosbarth Ogwr is all set and ready for a pumpkin-jumping week! 🎃 We have lots of exciting activities planned, including fine motor skill challenges, loose parts play, and plenty of painting, gluing and sticking. 🖌🍂 We'll also be heading out and about to look for signs of autumn, exploring the changes we can see around us. 🍁 We'll be looking at and talking about the pictures of your homes that you have brought in, sharing our ideas and experiences with our friends. I hope you're all feeling excited for another wonderful week of learning, exploring and having fun together! 🍂🎃

What a fantastic day Dosbarth Teifi had at St Fagans today! 🌿🏛 The children were an absolute credit to the school, behaving beautifully throughout the trip and showing such enthusiasm and curiosity by asking lots of brilliant questions. We particularly enjoyed our roundhouse session, where we learned so much more about Celtic life during the Iron Age. We couldn't believe that it's the only one of its kind in the world! 🤩 The trip gave us a wonderful little taste of what life might really have been like during the Iron Age, bringing our learning to life in such a memorable way. A huge thank you to all our wonderful parent helpers who gave up their time and helped make this trip possible we really appreciate your support! 🏡

🏛 What a fantastic day Dosbarth Conway had on our school trip to St. Fagans today! 🌿 The visit truly brought history to life, allowing us to step back in time and discover what life was like in the past. We especially loved taking part in the fantastic Celtic roundhouse workshop, where we learned so many interesting facts and gained a deeper understanding of how people lived during Celtic times. It was a wonderful day full of learning, exploration and new experiences! A huge thank you to all our wonderful parent helpers who joined us today and helped make this trip possible. We really appreciate your time, support and enthusiasm! 💚👏
