We are a small and friendly primary school set in extensive grounds. We have less than 200 children from 3 to 11 years old, including our own full time Nursery.
We are passionate about providing a fantastic education for all our children. We aim to provide an exceptional learning environment where children are happy, enthusiastic and inspired. We want everyone to feel excited about coming to school! Our curriculum enables children to gain the knowledge, skills and experiences necessary to lead happy, successful and fulfilling lives.

Last week, Dosbarth Conway created their own posters and leaflets about Y Elyri. The children independently decided on their layouts and carefully selected the information and pictures they wanted to include. They showed great creativity, organisation, and pride in their work

Dosbarth Ewenni has settled into Year 2, and we have had a fantastic start to the term! We have begun our topic, 'Our Local Area', by looking at old photographs of our school and discussing how it has changed over the years. We then created our own pictorial maps of the school. We have also enjoyed getting outdoors and going apple picking! We used the apples to create some wonderful prints and collected blackberries to use for painting. Of course, we couldn't resist tasting some of the delicious apples too! We are looking forward to lots more exciting learning and adventures as we continue our topic.

We have had a very colourful week in Dosbarth Ogwr! Elmer has been helping us with our colour challenges, and we have been busy exploring and learning through lots of fun activities. We made our own colourful Elmers, sorted pom-poms into colour groups, and used colourful rice to fill, tip and shake. We also created paper plate self-portraits and met King One from Ten Town, who has helped us learn all about the number one. It has been a busy, fun and successful week of learning. Well done, everyone!
