Welcome from the Head Teacher
We are a small and friendly primary school set in extensive grounds. We have less than 200 children from 3 to 11 years old, including our own full time Nursery.
We are passionate about providing a fantastic education for all our children. We aim to provide an exceptional learning environment where children are happy, enthusiastic and inspired. We want everyone to feel excited about coming to school! Our curriculum enables children to gain the knowledge, skills and experiences necessary to lead happy, successful and fulfilling lives.

This week Dosbarth Conway started our new topic all about mountains! We became detectives and used a hiker's rucksack to infer what we might be learning about. The children loved exploring the contents and discovering lots of different pieces of equipment that hikers use on their adventures. We were amazed at how heavy the rucksack was to carry, and some of the children even joked that they were small enough to fit inside it! It was a fantastic way to spark curiosity and get everyone excited about our new learning journey

To finish off our topic of Romans the children in Blwyddyn 2 have done some amazing presentations about what they have learned. Many of them stepped out of their comfort zone to impress us with their confidence and knowledge. They have also enjoyed making their own Roman pottery using clay. A perfect way to end such an enjoyable topic.
