Welcome to the Porthcawl Primary School website! In our site you will
find details of our school, children and staff, information about the work
we have done and the visits made, school newsletters and diary dates
along with plenty of interesting photographs taken in and around our school.
We hope that you enjoy looking at the website and remember to come back
as it will be regularly updated.

We are a mixed school for boys and girls between the ages of 3 to 11 years
which includes a Foundation Phase Area admitting pupils of nursery age.
We are situated just outside of the popular victorian seaside town of Porthcawl
which has a variety of beaches, a good range of shops, restaurants and
amenities, a nearby nature reserve and a fun fair!
We are a small and friendly primary school set in extensive grounds. We
have fantastic facilities for sport, an outdoor classroom, a conservation
area and we are in the process of building an allotment. In addition, we
have three large separate play areas.

We want everyone in our school community to feel cared for and supported
whilst achieving their full potential. We believe strongly in developing the
whole child and therefore focus on relationships and wellbeing whilst
continuing to achieve excellent standards. We were pleased that our
recent Inspection highlighted the school's success in these areas.

We feel that close and friendly links between teachers and parents are an
essential part of your child's development. Our aim is for the community to
become involved in the life of the school whenever they are able and we
look forward to everyone working happily together during your children's
time at Porthcawl Primary School.

If you would like to find out more about us please feel free to make an
appointment to visit. We are extremely proud of our school and love to
show people around.
We look forward to seeing you soon.
Many Thanks
Mr Wood
