Welcome to class 2
Following on from the success of the new Foundation Phase unit in the
Nursery and Reception classes, Class 2 has adopted a similar
approach to the new curriculum being phased in for all 3 to 7 year olds.
The children have free access to all the foundation phase classrooms and an
outside area.
Each morning they start off in their base rooms and then complete a range
of activities in each area throughout the day with different members of staff.

Class 2
Hello and welcome.
Our teachers are Mrs Arnold and Mr Bryant, Mrs Letman and Mrs Walters are the
LSO's for the class.

Due to the Foundation phase being developed in years 1 and 2 we are
currently implementing new exciting topics which will be taught to both
year groups.

As part of our winter term topic 2010 for language we read the 'Stickman' by
Julia Donaldson.

The Stickman by Julia Donaldson
Our summer term was the theme linked to the sea where we discovered the
life it holds, the Pirates above it and the lighthouses, lifeboats and lifeguards
that help to keep us safe.
