Welcome to the Foundation Phase
In the Foundation Phase we work as a unit. The children have free access
to two classrooms and a purpose built outside area. Each morning they start
off in their base rooms and then complete a range of activities in each area
throughout the day with different members of staff.

Language and Play sessions
We are holding Language and Play sessions once a week in our Nursery.
The sessions are for anyone who has a child who will be three years old
before September. The purpose of the sessions are to enable you and your
child to come and meet our staff as well as other parents and their children.
Additionally, you will be able to enjoy our wonderful Foundation Phase
setting whilst carrying out fun and non threatening language based activities
with your child.
Children who have come into school regularly before they begin Nursery,
often find it easier to settle as they are already familiar with their
surroundings. It is also reassuring for you to get to know a little bit about us
before your child begins Nursery.
You are still welcome to come to the sessions even if you have not yet
decided upon your child’s Nursery placement.
If you are interested please contact Mr. Wood for more details on
01656 815660. We look forward to hearing from you.
