NURSERY Language and Play and Pop In Tots

We are currently running two sessions each week for children and

parents who may be interested in starting our full time Nursery in

September.

Language & Play is every Monday from 1.30 to 3pm

Pop In Tots Playgroup is every Thursday from 9.30 to 10.30

Both sessions give an opportunity for children and parents to meet new

friends, get to know our staff and become familiar with our Foundation

Phase Unit. It allows families to make an informed choice about whether

our school is right for them. If you or a friend would like to attend, please

contact us on 815660 or pop in to the office for more information.

If you are able to put up a poster to advertise these sessions, please

let us know.

Crunchy Munchy School Food coop

Crunchy Munchy food co-op has started in school.  Every Thursday the Eco

committee with the help of some parent volunteers will be taking orders

for the following bags:  vegetable bag, fruit bag, salad bag and mixed bag

(a mixture of fruit and vegetables).  Orders will only be taken with money.

Bags will be ready to be picked up the following Thursday.  Bags cost £2.50

What is a food co-op?

A food coop is a simple system through which you can access fresh fruit

and vegetables on a weekly basis at affordable price of £2.50 per bag.

Local produce is used as much as possible. The supplier chooses the

selection of seasonal fruit and vegetables, to offer the best value for money

that week. The vegetable bag will generally have potatoes, carrots and 3-4

other items. Customers can order as little or as much as they like. All the

money goes to the supplier - no profit is made by the coop.

New Computer suite and outdoor provision

As part of the School Improvment plan for this academic year the PTA

are busy raising funds to help equipment a new computer suite and develop

the outdoor provision.  Please see details on the PTA page and come

along to our monthly meeting at the Seahorse.
